Laying Low
easy like sunday morning except on a monday (vol 6 + vol 7)
Weekly Thoughts:
The past two weeks have been extremely low-key. I’ve been in the house reading, crafting, and limiting my time online.
I go hard, but I also rest hard when I feel the need. I really do feel like I live in extreme balance, I’m either inside or I’m outside depending on how I feel and there is really no rhyme or reason barring the fact that I truly exist on vibes.
I’ve been engulfed in some really good books and I’m at the part of the winter where I’m just yearning for Spring. I was telling someone I’m so thankful for these little peeks of warmer weather and the noticeable extra minutes of daylight that have been gracing us in Atlanta lately.
A reminder that life is about to get real good, as such I’m back on my fitness cause I need to be a whole problem in a backless sundress.
Weekly Overview:
I haven’t graced these Atlanta streets much the last two weeks. Friday before last a friend of mine had reservations to the Beverly to hear their live band that performs every Friday. The band and the company was phenomenal.
Saturday, the 7th. I had to stand in as a production lead for a project we are doing at work and that was too much fun.
Valentine’s weekend, I stayed in the house all day Saturday reading. I had no desire to do anything Valentine’s Day related even though he kept asking.
Sunday I went to Sorority meeting.
What I Read
This was my latest library haul. I read everything in this stack except for The Great Alone, they wouldn’t let me renew it.
In the past two weeks I’ve read, Dominion, Cursed Daughters, and the Book of Harlan. I’m still behind on my embroidery sweatshirt and I keep reading instead of catching up, at this rate I’m not sure when y’all will get reviews!
What I Crafted:
I did manage to finish the embroidery for The Wilderness and Glorious. I’m currently behind 8 designs. I’m committed tho!
This will probably be the lowest key newsletter for awhile cause my calendar is completely full through March.
How have you been? Are you ready for Spring?
Thanks for rocking with me,
Mimi

I get the extreme balance. Either all the way or not at all. I’m kinda like that too!
